Android is the hottest selling Linux distribution. It is also a great opportunity for people to design and code apps for mobile devices. We want to tell other people how we did it.
In this session, we will share our experiences with coding an Android app from idea to smartphone. What was fun. What was hard. Problems we encountered and how we resolved them. There will be a live demonstration of our app that works just as well in San Francisco as it does on the Western campus. We will also talk about our development environment and how it can be used by beginners to intermediate software developers.
